Which carriers do you use for the delivery of your products?
We use multiple courier companies for delivering our products. However, our preferred choice is Startrack. They are not only affordable but also highly reliable as compared to other courier companies.
Can I request a quote if I don’t find what I am looking for?
Yes. If you can’t find what you are looking for or want a different size, weight or any other specifications, then you can request a quote. It usually takes our team a day to send you back your requested quote. However, it may take a little longer if the order is complex.
What is the difference between a pop up banner and pull up banner?
The easiest way to remember this is that a pull up banner stand is on that you simply pull up and put into place while a pop up is a larger banner stand that requires a bit more time in the construction. Pop up banners are popular for trade shows and will be more expensive and should be viewed as a long term investment, while pull up banners are cheaper and more suited to short term use either inside your place of business or at a trade show or conference. Pull up banners can also be known as roller or roll up banner stands.
Is there a difference in entry level and premium banner stands?
At Digital Printing, your reputation is our reputation, so we use only the best quality materials for each of our banner stands. This means that our entry level silver banner stand is made out of the same material as our gold premium stands. The only difference is a slightly lighter gauge in aluminium for the frame.
Add 5 mm bleed all around.
To allow slight cutting differences in production, always add a bleed of 5 mm bleed around all edges of your design. Make sure background images, colours, pictures and layouts extend into the bleed area to avoid leaving white lines as a result of cutting variations. Best to submit your file with printer's marks and crop marks.
Convert fonts to outlines or embed all the fonts.
Make sure you convert fonts to outlines or embed all the fonts when saving it to PDF.
Fonts should be at least 12 pt.
All Fonts used in your artwork should be at least 12 pt.
Check your artwork on overprint.
Ensure no elements in your artwork are set on overprint. Unless you want this effect in your design. The degree of transparency in printing process depends on many factors like paper, ink and the printing method used.
Use color mode as CMYK .
Prepare all your files using CMYK color mode. Make sure the color mode is not set to RGB. If you are not sure of the colour mode of your file, we can always convert this for you. Its important to keep in mind this can cause the colours to change from the original artwork file.
Resolution of over 150 dpi.
Make sure the resolution of the images and graphics in your artwork are over 150 dpi to make images look crisp.
Keep 10 mm safety margin all around.
Keep all images and text at least 10 mm inside from the edge of the finished size.
