Corflute Signs are very popular as advertising signs for retail shops and real estate agents. There are tiny channels in the plates which makes it easy to bend or fold the signs. They are ideal to promote your products. The channel plate has a thickness of 3mm / 5mm depending on your display needs.  You can submit your file any time your artwork is complete.

  • What is the diameter of the holes in Corflute signs?

    The standard diameter of the drilled holes is 5mm.

  • Where are the drilled holes in the Corflute signs located?

    The distance between the center of the hole and the edge of the panel is a standard 15mm. Beware when ordering a very small sign that this could be drilled into the main area of your artwork.

  • Add 5 mm bleed all around.

    To allow slight cutting differences in production, always add a bleed of 5 mm bleed around all edges of your design. Make sure background images, colours, pictures and layouts extend into the bleed area to avoid leaving white lines as a result of cutting variations. Best to submit your file with printer's marks and crop marks.

  • Convert fonts to outlines or embed all the fonts.

    Make sure you convert fonts to outlines or embed all the fonts when saving it to PDF.

  • Fonts should be at least 12 pt.

    All Fonts used in your artwork should be at least 12 pt.

  • Check your artwork on overprint.

    Ensure no elements in your artwork are set on overprint. Unless you want this effect in your design. The degree of transparency in the printing process depends on many factors like paper, ink and the printing method used.

  • Use colour mode as CMYK.

    Prepare all your files using CMYK colour mode. Make sure the colour mode is not set to RGB. If you are not sure of the colour mode of your file, we can always convert this for you. It's important to keep in mind this can cause the colours to change from the original artwork file.

  • Resolution of over 150 dpi.

    Make sure the resolution of the images and graphics in your artwork are over 150 dpi to make images look crisp.

  • Keep 10 mm safety margin all around.

    Keep all images and text  at least 10 mm inside from the edge of the finished size.

  • Save your file(s) in non-editable, print-ready format.

    Save your files in a non-editable, print-ready file format (PDF, AI, EPS, JPG, PNG). Deliver your files in one layer: the background layer.

  • Submission specifications for contour cutting.

    Your design is required to have a contour cutline set up on a separate layer, and made from a spot colour called "cutcontour" of only 100% Magenta in a PDF file. Your design should run 3mm outside the contour cut line (bleed), This is to ensure the design is cut without any white borders.
