About Our Selfie Frames
Custom selfie frames are personalised photo props for weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, trade shows, brand activations and social media campaigns. Also called social media frames, photo booth frames or selfie frame props, they are printed to your own design — logo, hashtag, Instagram handle, event details or campaign artwork.
Selfie frame specifications
- Material: 5mm corflute (corrugated plastic) — the same board we print road and construction signage on. Lightweight to hold, rigid enough not to flop.
- Waterproof: yes. Corflute is a plastic board, not cardboard, so a spilled drink or an outdoor event in the rain won't ruin it.
- Supplied: as one solid panel, not folded and not in sections.
- Cut to shape: the centre is contour-cut on our digital cutting table, so your selfie frame arrives ready to hold. No scissors, no knife, no rough edges.
- Sizes: Small 600mm W x 900mm H, or Large 800mm W x 1200mm H. Need a custom size selfie frame? Send us the dimensions and we'll quote it.
- Printing: single-sided, full colour, on our swissQprint UV flatbed press.
- Production: 24 hours standard from artwork approval. Same-day rush is available if you're up against it — ask us.
- Delivery: boxed flat, dispatched Australia-wide. The live quantity grid above shows your exact price as you change quantity — bulk pricing drops steeply.
How we print and cut them
Your artwork goes onto our swissQprint UV flatbed press, which prints full colour straight onto the corflute board rather than onto a vinyl that then has to be laminated down. The ink cures instantly, so colours stay sharp and the surface resists scuffing when the frame gets passed around a room all night. The frame shape and the centre cut-out are then cut on our digital cutting table, driven from the same file as the print — which is why the cut lines up with your border artwork instead of drifting a millimetre or two across the run.
Every order gets a free digital proof before anything is printed. You approve it, and the 24-hour clock starts from there. Upload a print-ready PDF, AI or EPS in CMYK with 3mm bleed, start from one of our free selfie frame templates, or have our design team build it for you — see the print-ready artwork guide if you're not sure what that means.
Popular uses
Selfie frames work because people pick them up without being asked, and because every photo taken through one carries your branding, hashtag or event name into someone's feed.
- Wedding and engagement selfie frames — names, date and a handle, or styled to match the invitations.
- Birthday and party selfie frames — the cheapest way to make a party room look like an event.
- Corporate event and trade show selfie frames — branded with your logo, stand number and hashtag, next to the media wall.
- Product launch and promotional selfie frames — campaign artwork on the frame, so the product name travels with every share.
- Graduation, school formal and open day frames — school crest and year group, reused every intake.
- Festivals, fundraisers and community days — big, bright and hard to walk past.
Create an Instagram, Facebook or TikTok-style selfie frame featuring your own branding, hashtag, handle or campaign artwork — the platform look is just artwork, so any social media frame style can be printed. Because the board is plastic rather than card, the same frame survives being packed down and brought out again, which is what makes bulk selfie frames worth it for a venue, a school or an events company.

Selfie Frames - FAQ's
What are selfie frames made from?
5 mm corflute — corrugated plastic, the same twin-wall board we print road, site and election signage on. It is rigid enough that a 800 x 1200 mm frame holds its own shape when someone picks it up by one corner, and light enough that a guest can hold it at arm's length all night. It is a plastic board, not cardboard, so it does not go soft at the corners the way a printed card frame does after a few hours of being passed around.
Are selfie frames waterproof?
Yes. Polypropylene absorbs no water at all, so a spilled drink wipes straight off and an outdoor event in the rain will not ruin the frame. The inks are cured directly into the board on a UV flatbed press rather than applied as a vinyl skin, so there is no laminate that can lift or peel at the edges. Wipe it down with mild soap and water; avoid abrasive pads, which dull the printed surface.
Can selfie frames be used outdoors?
Yes, and they are a common choice for garden weddings, festivals and community days. The board is water resistant and will handle a day outdoors comfortably. It is wind rather than rain that ends most outdoor frames, so on an exposed site have someone hold it for photos rather than leaning it against a fence, and bring it inside if it is gusty. A frame that is stored flat afterwards will be ready for the next event.
Do selfie frames arrive in one piece, or folded?
One solid panel. Selfie frames are not folded, scored or supplied in sections that you assemble — the frame you see is cut from a single sheet of corflute and shipped flat in a box. That matters for how it photographs: a folded frame shows a crease line straight through your artwork, and it never sits quite flat in the shot.
Is the centre cut out for me, or do I have to cut it myself?
We cut it. The frame shape and the centre aperture are contour-cut on our digital cutting table, driven by the same file that drives the print, so the cut follows your border artwork exactly instead of drifting across the run. Your frames arrive ready to hold — no scissors, no knife, no rough edges. Rounded corners are standard on the aperture so there is nothing sharp at face height.
Can I customise a selfie frame with my logo, hashtag or Instagram handle?
Yes — the whole printed area is yours. Logos, event hashtags, an Instagram or TikTok handle, a couple's names and date, sponsor marks, campaign artwork or a full photographic background all print in full colour. An Instagram, Facebook or TikTok style frame is simply artwork laid out to look like that platform, so any social media frame look can be printed. Two layout tips worth knowing: keep the hashtag at least 40 mm clear of the aperture so fingers and cropping do not eat it, and put the logo on the opposite side to the hashtag so one hand cannot cover both.
Can I order a custom size selfie frame?
The two sizes on this page price instantly: Small 600 x 900 mm and Large 800 x 1200 mm. Anything outside those we quote rather than price automatically — send us the width and height and we will come back with a figure. Custom shapes are also possible, since the frame is contour-cut from a file rather than trimmed to a rectangle, so an aperture that is round, arched or traced from your logo is achievable.
How many people fit inside a selfie frame?
The Small 600 x 900 mm frame is comfortable for one or two people held at arm's length. The Large 800 x 1200 mm frame fits three or four, and is the one to choose if you want group shots or if the frame also has to read from across a room. If most of your photos will be couples, Small is usually enough; if it is a work function or a school group, order Large.
What sizes do selfie frames come in?
Two sizes price instantly on this page: Small at 600 mm W x 900 mm H, and Large at 800 mm W x 1200 mm H. Small suits a table, a bar top or a tight corner. Large is the one to order if you want three or four people in shot at once. Worth knowing before you choose: almost everyone shoots vertically for social, so a portrait aperture survives platform cropping better than a landscape one.
Do you provide selfie frame templates?
Yes. There are free downloadable templates on this page set up at the correct size with bleed and safe margins already marked, so you can drop your own artwork straight in. You can also design online in the browser from a ready-made layout, or hand it to our design team and approve a proof. Whichever route you take, the free digital proof comes before anything is printed.
How quickly can selfie frames be printed?
Production is 24 hours from the moment you approve your digital proof. If you are up against a deadline, same-day rush is available — call us before you order so we can confirm it for your job. Delivery is on top of production: roughly 1-3 business days to metro areas, 3-5 to regional and 5-7 to remote. Pickup from our Derrimut factory in Melbourne is free if you are local.
What artwork do I need to supply?
A print-ready PDF, AI or EPS at 300 DPI in CMYK, with fonts embedded or converted to outlines. We add 3 mm bleed. If you do not have artwork ready, you can order now and upload later, edit one of our free templates in the browser, or use our design service. Every order gets a free digital proof before anything is printed, and the 24-hour production clock only starts once you approve it.
Are selfie frames printed on both sides?
Single-sided is standard, and it is what almost every event needs — the frame is held up facing the camera, so the back is never in shot. If you have a reason to print both faces, such as a frame that sits in the middle of a room and gets used from either direction, contact us and we will quote it rather than have you guess.
Can I reuse a selfie frame at more than one event?
Yes, and it is the main reason venues and event companies order them in corflute rather than card. The board does not absorb moisture and does not soften, so a frame that is stored flat between events will come out looking the same at the next one. Store it flat rather than leaning against a wall — a corflute sheet left leaning for months will eventually take a bend along the flutes.
Do you do bulk pricing on selfie frames?
Yes. The quantity grid above recalculates live as you change quantity, so you can see the exact per-frame price before you commit — no need to request a quote to find out. The per-unit price drops steeply with volume, which is why franchise groups, schools and event hire companies tend to order a season's worth in one run rather than one frame at a time.
