Cookie Statement

Last updated: 19 August 2026

1. What this statement covers

This Cookie Statement explains how Vivid Ads Pty Ltd (ABN 49 210 655 341) ("Vivid Ads", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on vividads.com.au and our customer portal. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more broadly.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They let the site remember your actions and preferences — such as what's in your cart or whether you're signed in — so you don't have to re-enter them on every page. Similar technologies such as pixels, tags and local storage work in comparable ways, and we refer to them all as "cookies" in this statement.

3. The cookies we use

We group the cookies on our site into four categories:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the site to work: they keep your shopping cart together, remember your region and currency, keep you signed in to your account, and protect the checkout against fraud. These are set by our ecommerce platform (Shopify) and cannot be switched off.
  • Functional — remember choices you make (such as recently viewed products or saved preferences) so the site works more conveniently. The site still works without them.
  • Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are popular, where visitors arrive from, and where they run into problems — so we can improve it. These tools (such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) report in aggregate and do not identify you personally to us.
  • Advertising — set by advertising partners (such as Google and Meta) to measure the performance of our ads and to show you relevant Vivid Ads promotions on other websites you visit. These cookies may recognise your device across sites.

4. Third-party cookies

Some cookies on our site are set by third parties providing services to us — our ecommerce platform (Shopify), payment providers (such as PayPal, Afterpay and Zip), analytics providers, and advertising networks. These providers may use the data they collect in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not control third-party cookies, but we choose our providers carefully.

5. How long cookies last

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay on your device for a set period — from a few hours (sign-in sessions) up to about two years (analytics and preference cookies) — or until you delete them.

6. Managing cookies

You are in control of cookies on your device:

  • Browser settings — every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, either entirely or site-by-site. Look under Settings → Privacy. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the cart, sign-in and checkout from working.
  • Advertising opt-outs — you can opt out of personalised advertising through Your Online Choices (Australia), and manage ad settings directly with Google and Meta.
  • Do Not Track — our site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, as no common industry standard exists.

Opting out of analytics and advertising cookies does not stop you seeing ads — it means the ads you see will be less relevant.

7. Changes and contact

We may update this statement as the cookies we use change; the current version is always published on this page with its "last updated" date. Questions? Contact us:
