Common questions

Vinyl or fabric — which banner do I need?

Vinyl for outdoors, fabric for indoors. Vinyl is heavy PVC that shrugs off rain and sun and takes eyelets and cable ties. Fabric is lighter, folds without creasing permanently, and photographs far better under indoor lighting because it does not throw glare back at the camera — which is why it wins for anything that will appear in photos.

What fabric weights do you print?

Economy 120 gsm and premium 250 gsm. The premium is heavier, holds richer colour and lets less light through — worth it if the banner will be backlit or hung where light comes from behind.

How do I want the edges finished?

Four options: hemmed with eyelets (the default, for tying or cable-tying), hemmed only, rod pockets for a top-and-bottom pole, or velcro hook edges for a frame. Pick eyelets unless you already know what you are fixing it to.

Is the ground spike extra on flags?

No — the ground spike is included free on teardrop and feather flags, along with the poles and the carry bag. Paid base options exist for hard surfaces: a cross base with a water bag, a 5 kg metal plate, or a 10 kg concrete base.

Will people be able to read it?

The working rule is about 25 mm of capital letter height for every metre of viewing distance. Read from 3 m, you need 75 mm letters; from 10 m, 250 mm. A headline that fails this on a small banner does not get fixed by a bigger banner — it gets fixed by using fewer words.

Can I reprint just the graphic and keep the stand?

Yes, and it is much cheaper. Replacement skins start at $89. Buy hardware once, replace the print when the campaign or the branding changes.

How fast, and what does delivery cost?

Printed and dispatched within 24 hours of proof approval. Pickup is free from 90 Australis Drive, Derrimut VIC 3026. Delivery is calculated at checkout before you pay; Melbourne metro starts from about $14.95, and we ship Australia-wide.
