Foam Board Printing Melbourne — your questions answered
How cheap is bulk printing?
Prices drop steeply with volume — the quantity grid on every product shows the live tiers. Corflute, for example, falls from $99 for one to $7.32 each at 100.
What turnaround can I expect?
24-hour standard production if artwork is approved by 3pm AEST, with express and same-day options on most products. You pick the exact delivery date at checkout.
Can you print custom sizes?
Yes — many products take a true custom width × height, priced live by area. If the calculator can’t size it, request a quote and we will.
Do you print double-sided?
Most banners offer a double-sided (Double Impact) option — the surcharge shows live as you select it.
How do I supply artwork?
Print-ready PDF, AI or EPS in CMYK with 3mm bleed. No artwork? Design online free or add our design service. Every file gets a free pre-flight check.
Is delivery really free?
Freight is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay, and pickup from our Derrimut factory is free. Melbourne metro typically lands next business day after dispatch.
More about foam board printing melbourne
PVC foam board and foam core printing in Melbourne — printed at our Derrimut factory, free pickup, dispatched in 24 hours.
Foam PVC or foam core?
They get used interchangeably and they should not be.
PVC foam board (sometimes Forex or Foamex) is a rigid expanded PVC sheet. Waterproof, holds its shape, takes a screw. This is the one for shopfront signage, directory boards, real estate boards and anything semi-permanent, indoors or under cover.
Foam core is paper-faced polystyrene. Lighter, cheaper, and strictly indoor and short-term — exhibition graphics, point of sale, presentation boards. It will not survive weather.
If your sign is going outside unprotected, neither is really right and you want corflute instead.
Sizes and finishing
Printed flat, cut to size, and available cut to shape. Common thicknesses are 3mm and 5mm. Tell us how it is being mounted — standoffs, screws, adhesive or a stand — because that changes what thickness makes sense.
Melbourne pickup
Printed in Derrimut, 20 minutes west of the CBD. Rigid board is bulky and awkward to freight, so this is a product where collecting from the factory genuinely saves money. Free pickup, or flat-rate delivery across Melbourne.
