Common questions

How long do corflute signs last outdoors?

Between 12 and 24 months in full Australian sun before the colour starts to shift. Under shade or indoors they last considerably longer. The board itself is waterproof and will not swell or delaminate the way a paper-faced board does.

3 mm or 5 mm — which do I need?

5 mm for anything outdoors, on a fence, or on ground stakes. 3 mm is fine for indoor signage, short-term promotions and anything that will be handled rather than mounted. 5 mm is the popular choice, it is what we quote above, and it is the stock we currently hold — if a job specifically needs 3 mm, contact us before ordering.

What is the biggest corflute sign you print?

2400 × 1200 mm from a single sheet. Larger signs are produced as multiple panels that butt together.

Which way do the flutes run, and does it matter?

It matters if you are using ground stakes. Vertical flutes take a wire ground stake; horizontal flutes suit hanging signs with eyelets top and bottom. We produce with a combination depending on material availability, so if vertical flutes are essential, tell us before you order.

Do you do eyelets and custom shapes?

Yes. Eyelets are clear plastic rather than metal, so there is nothing to rust and nothing to stain the print. Custom contour cutting — circles, triangles, hexagons, arrows — is available at no extra charge. Rounded corners too; tell us the radius you want.

How fast can I get them, and what does delivery cost?

Printed and dispatched within 24 hours of proof approval. Pickup is free from 90 Australis Drive, Derrimut VIC 3026 — usually the same day it prints. Delivery is calculated at checkout for your postcode. For urgent jobs there is a 48-hour production option.
