Questions people ask
What has to be on the principal contractor's site sign?
The contractor's name, telephone contact details including an out-of-hours number, and the location of the site office. It has to be readable from outside the site, so it goes on the fence facing the street, not inside the gate. Our site entry designs leave a field for each of those.
How do I fix corflute to temporary fencing?
Cable ties through the corner eyelets, four per sign, is the standard method and takes about a minute. For a longer job, use eight ties and pull them to the fence uprights rather than the mesh, or the sign will flap and wear through at the eyelets.
How long will a corflute site sign last outside?
Roughly 12 to 18 months in direct Australian sun before the colours start to go. On a typical build that outlasts the job. If the sign has to survive several years, ask us about ACM or aluminium composite instead.
Can I put our logo and licence number on these?
Yes. Every design is editable in the browser — drop in your logo, builder's licence or registration number, and your contact details before you order. If you would rather we set it up, our design team can do it from a copy of your existing board.
Can I put my own wording on it?
