Will these satisfy our accessible signage requirements?
No, and we would rather say so. Braille and tactile signage at toilets and exits is covered by the National Construction Code and AS 1428.1, which call for raised characters on a rigid substrate. These printed boards are for everything else — reception, room names, directories and staff areas.
How do I fix a corflute sign to a plasterboard wall without holes?
Double-sided mounting tape holds a corflute sign this size on clean painted plasterboard indefinitely, because the board weighs almost nothing — a 600 × 900 mm sheet of 5mm corflute is well under half a kilogram. On a textured or freshly painted wall, or anywhere the sign has to survive a door slamming beside it, use two screws with washers through the top corners instead.
Can I order one sign, or is there a minimum?
You can order one. There is a $136 minimum order, so up to five signs cost the same as one — most offices use that up by ordering the reception board, two room names and a staff-only sign together.
We are moving offices next month. Can I reuse the artwork later?
Yes. Your design stays in your account, so when the new address or floor is confirmed you open the same file, change the line, and reorder. Offices doing a staged move usually print a temporary set first and the permanent set once the fit-out is finished.
Can I put my own wording on it?
Yes. Open any design and rewrite it for your own site, your own property or your own hours. There is no design fee for editing a ready-made design, and no minimum on how much you change.
How long will it last outside?
Roughly 12–18 months in direct Australian sun on 5mm corflute with UV inks. For anything permanent, ask us about aluminium composite instead — same artwork, much longer life.
How fast can I get it?
24 hours in production once your proof is approved, provided that reaches us by 3pm AEST on a working day. Then 1–3 business days to metro, 3–5 regional, 5–7 remote.
