Questions people ask

Where should a forklift sign actually go?
At every point where somebody on foot can first enter the area — the personnel door, the head of the pedestrian walkway, and the dock apron — rather than in the middle of the warehouse where the forklift already is. The purpose is to change what a person does before they step into the zone, so the sign belongs at the decision point, not at the hazard.
Is a sign enough to meet our traffic management obligations?
No. Under the model WHS Regulations the first control is physical separation of plant and pedestrians — barriers, marked walkways, separate doors and timing. Signage supports those controls and warns the people your controls did not anticipate, such as a delivery driver or a contractor. A sign over an unmarked floor is the common failure.
Can I put our bay numbers, site name and a phone number on these?
Yes — every design is editable in the browser before you order. The usual additions are a bay or dock number, the site name, a warehouse supervisor's mobile for drivers, and induction wording such as "report to the office before unloading".
Will corflute hold up inside a warehouse?
Better than outside — the 12 to 18 month figure is for full sun. Indoors the practical limit is impact rather than weather, so keep boards above forklift mast height or off the face of a racking upright. At this price most sites simply reprint when the layout changes.
Can I put my own wording on it?
Yes. Open any design and rewrite it for your own site, your own property or your own hours. There is no design fee for editing a ready-made design, and no minimum on how much you change.
How long will it last outside?
Roughly 12–18 months in direct Australian sun on 5mm corflute with UV inks. For anything permanent, ask us about aluminium composite instead — same artwork, much longer life.
How fast can I get it?
24 hours in production once your proof is approved, provided that reaches us by 3pm AEST on a working day. Then 1–3 business days to metro, 3–5 regional, 5–7 remote.
