Large Format Printing Melbourne

Large format printing in Melbourne — banners, media walls, rigid boards and fabric, printed in-house at our Derrimut factory.

Large format means anything too big for an office printer, which in practice covers three very different production methods. Which one you need depends on the substrate.

The three kinds

Rigid board — corflute, PVC foam board, foam core. Printed flat and cut to shape. For signage, site boards, point of sale and anything that needs to stand on its own.

Flexible vinyl — banners, mesh, hoarding wrap. Printed on a roll, hemmed and eyeleted.

Dye-sublimated fabric — media walls, flags, table throws, tension displays. The ink goes into the fibre rather than sitting on it, so there is no glare and the fabric still folds.

Why in-house matters

A lot of Melbourne large format work is brokered — the company you order from sends it elsewhere to print. We print on our own equipment in Derrimut, which is why we can quote a 24-hour dispatch and let you collect from the factory.

Free artwork pre-flight check on every order. At large format sizes, a file that looks fine on screen often is not, and it is much cheaper to find that out before printing.
