What you get

What it costs
$136 minimum order - one sign or five both come to $136. At 600 x 900mm that is $17.88 each for ten, or $12.92 each at twenty-five. Retailers with more than one door usually order ten, because the same trading-hours sign has to go on every entrance.
Material
5mm corflute — corrugated polypropylene. Light, waterproof, UV stable, and cheap enough to replace when the job moves.
Size
600 x 900mm portrait is the shopfront standard - it reads from the far side of a mall walkway. 600 x 450mm for a door or a counter. 900 x 600mm landscape if it is going above a window rather than beside a door.
Fixing
Eyelets in the corners for cable ties onto fencing, or leave it plain to screw straight to a post.
Printing
Single or double sided, full colour UV inks. Outdoor life of roughly 12-18 months in direct Australian sun.
Turnaround
24 hours in production once you approve the proof, if that lands by 3pm AEST on a working day.

Questions people ask

Can I reuse it next year?
If the dates are on it, no - and that is the argument for putting the trading hours on and the year off. Corflute holds up for 12-18 months outdoors and much longer stored flat indoors, so a Christmas sign with hours but no dates goes back up the following November. Order a second set at the same time: the fifth sign costs a fraction of the first.
Do you print the dates and hours, or do I write them on?
We print them. Every line is editable before you order, so you type your actual trading hours in and they print. Handwriting on corflute smudges and reads as an afterthought - which, on a shopfront in December, is exactly the impression you do not want.
What if I need it in more than one language?
Type it in. The text fields take any characters your keyboard produces, including Chinese, Vietnamese, Arabic and Greek, and we print what you typed. For Lunar New Year in particular, most centres run the headline in both. Check the proof carefully - we print the characters as supplied and cannot read them for accuracy.
Can I put my own wording on it?
Yes. Open any design and rewrite it for your own site, your own property or your own hours. There is no design fee for editing a ready-made design, and no minimum on how much you change.
How long will it last outside?
Roughly 12–18 months in direct Australian sun on 5mm corflute with UV inks. For anything permanent, ask us about aluminium composite instead — same artwork, much longer life.
How fast can I get it?
24 hours in production once your proof is approved, provided that reaches us by 3pm AEST on a working day. Then 1–3 business days to metro, 3–5 regional, 5–7 remote.
