What is the turnaround time for Foam signs?
You can get your foam signs the next day of placing your order. However, it is only possible if you provide us everything we need in time before the cut-off time. This allows us to send your order into production so it’s ready for delivery the next day.
You can find the cut-off time mentioned in the yellow bar on the Products Page on our website. The cut-off time for different products is different. It depends on the quantity you have ordered and the production technique to be used.
Note: Please bear in mind that the delivery date will move ahead one day each time you miss the deadline. Thus, if you want to get your order delivered in time, you must keep an eye on the deadline.
What technique is used in the production of Foam signs?
Foam signs are produced using the following technique:
UV Print: The first technique we use is UV Print. It uses an eco-friendly ink that uses UV light for curing. This ensures that the final product has sharp colours and print, and the quality is top-notch as well.
Which carriers are used to deliver your products?
We use multiple carriers for delivering our products. However, Startrack is our preferred choice because they are quick and reliable.
Can I request a quotation if I can’t find what I am looking for?
Yes, you can request a quotation if you can’t find what you are looking for or have different specifications for your order. Just get in touch with our team with your requirements and we will get back to you with the quote within a day. Complex requests, however, may take a little longer.
Can Foam board signs be used outdoors?
Foamex signs are made for indoor usage only. If you are looking for signs for outdoor usage, then choose the ones made with correx, brushed or painted aluminium.
What are the different materials I can choose from for my Foamex signs?
2mm Foamex Board: 2mm Foam board is made with two synthetic plates with hard foam core. These are light in weight and are widely used indoors for wall displays and wall-coverings. Maximum surface of these 2mm Foam boards is 2m2 per panel.
3mm Foamex Board: 3mm Foam board is made with two synthetic plates with hard foam core. These are light in weight and are widely used indoors for wall displays and wall-coverings. Maximum surface of these 3mm Foamex boards is 2m2 per panel.
5mm Foamex Board: 5mm Foam board is made with two synthetic plates with hard foam core. These are light in weight and are widely used indoors for wall displays and wall-coverings. Maximum surface of these 5mm Foam boards is 2m2 per panel.
Not Extra Options: The standard finish of the advertising panel is known as clean cut. You will have your sign cut in exactly the same size as you requested.
Are all materials printed on the panel directly?
Yes, all materials are directly printed onto the panel.
Add 5 mm bleed all around.
To allow slight cutting differences in production, always add a bleed of 5 mm bleed around all edges of your design. Make sure background images, colours, pictures and layouts extend into the bleed area to avoid leaving white lines as a result of cutting variations. Best to submit your file with printer's marks and crop marks.
Convert fonts to outlines or embed all the fonts.
Make sure you convert fonts to outlines or embed all the fonts when saving it to PDF.
Fonts should be at least 12 pt.
All Fonts used in your artwork should be at least 12 pt.
Check your artwork on overprint.
Ensure no elements in your artwork are set on overprint. Unless you want this effect in your design. The degree of transparency in printing process depends on many factors like paper, ink and the printing method used.
Use color mode as CMYK .
Prepare all your files using CMYK color mode. Make sure the color mode is not set to RGB. If you are not sure of the colour mode of your file, we can always convert this for you. Its important to keep in mind this can cause the colours to change from the original artwork file.
Resolution of over 150 dpi.
Make sure the resolution of the images and graphics in your artwork are over 150 dpi to make images look crisp.
Keep 10 mm safety margin all around.
Keep all images and text at least 10 mm inside from the edge of the finished size.
Save your file(s) in non-editable, print-ready format.
Save your files in a non-editable, print-ready file formats (PDF , AI, EPS, JPG, PNG). Deliver your files in one layer: the background layer.

Submission specifications for contour cutting.
Your design is required to have a contour cutline set up on a separate layer, and made from a spot color called "cutcontour" of only 100% Magenta in a PDF file. Your design should run 3mm outside the contour cut line (bleed), This is to ensure the design is cut without any white borders.
