  • What is a wall mural and how can it be used?

    Murals are ideal for short-term with removable or repositionable material or long-term use on our permanent substrate. Images are produced in tiled panels to create a virtually seamless image. Images can be tiled to create unlimited size murals for full impact. Applications: in-store wall graphics, cash wraps, museum exhibits, corporate interiors, column wraps, hotels, restaurants, institutions, and architect interiors.  

  • What materials are used in the production of wall murals?

    We use hp Photo Tex™ ( Peel & stick )  material for indoor use. They are the preferred choice of our customers who are looking to order a large quantity at affordable rates.

  • Do you fold the affiche when they are delivered?

    No. We roll our wall paper if they are large in size or simply lay them flat if they are small. We don’t fold them for delivery.

  • What is the turnaround time for standard posters?

    Our wall murals are available for next-day dispatch to your location or available for pickup from our warehouse in derrimut victoria 3026. You must provide us with all your artwork before the cut-off time mentioned on the Products Page . This allows us to send the posters into production on time. Note: Every time you miss the deadline, the delivery date goes up by a day. Thus, you must provide us everything in time if you want the posters to be delivered to you on time.

  • What are the production techniques used in the creation of posters?

    We use digital printing for the production of posters. We use CMYK colours with different inks and toners to bring your prints to life. This is the most affordable way to print the wall murals. There are fewer components involved in printing and there is also no ink-drying time. The starting cost is also less as compared to other methods of printing.

In order to design the perfect artwork, we have created some easy templates. You will find the most popular artwork templates below. Click on the link at the bottom to see all templates.

  • Add 3 mm bleed all around.

    To allow slight cutting differences in production, always add a bleed of 3 mm bleed around all edges of your design. Make sure background images, colours, pictures and layouts extend into the bleed area to avoid leaving white lines as a result of cutting variations. Best to submit your file with printer's marks and  crop marks.

  • Convert fonts to outlines or embed all the fonts.

    Make sure you convert fonts to outlines or embed all the fonts when saving it to PDF.

  • Fonts should be at least 6 pt.

    All Fonts used in your artwork should be at least 6 pt.

  • Check your artwork on overprint.

    Ensure no elements in your artwork are set on overprint. Unless you want this effect in your design. The degree of transparency in printing process depends on many factors like  paper, ink and the printing method used.

  • Use color mode as CMYK .

    Prepare all your files using CMYK color mode. Make sure the color mode is not set to RGB. If you are not sure of the colour mode of your file, we can always convert this for you. Its important to keep in mind this can cause the colours to change from the original artwork file.

  • Resolution of at least 300 dpi.

    Make sure the resolution of the images and graphics in your artwork are over 150 dpi to make images look crisp.

  • Keep 4 mm safety margin all around.

    Keep all images and text  at least 4 mm inside from the edge of the finished size.

  • Save your file(s) in non-editable, print-ready format.

    Save your files in a non-editable, print-ready file formats (PDF , AI, EPS, JPG, PNG). Deliver your files in one layer: the background layer.

  • Lines should be at least 0.25 pt.

    Lines should be at least 0.25 pt. Negative lines should be at least 0.5 pt.

  • Make sure the ink coverage isn't higher than 300%.

    Force Color Images to CMYK with a 260% ink limit (in Photoshop > Convert Color Profile > Photoshop 5 Default CMYK). Make sure the ink coverage isn't higher than 300%.

  • Use the right values for full color black.

    Use Rich Black (C:63% M:52% Y:51% K:100%) for larger areas and text to get a deep black color. Do not use this value for text smaller than 15 pt or plain text. This can only be used in full color printing. For designing black smaller texts use 100% black.
